Go 1.25.12 and 1.26.5 are now available

Change effective on 08 July 2026

Go 1.25.12 and 1.26.5 are now available for use by Go apps on Heroku.

In addition, we have updated the Go 1.25 and 1.26 version aliases to resolve to these new Go patch versions.

The Cloud Native Buildpack (v3.0.0) no longer supports pre-release (rc/beta) Go versions. Apps requesting a release-candidate or beta Go version will need to move to a stable release.
